   Going foreward all those goodies I focus talks about are “hash” without Net Neutrality. The cause right now, not later in Miami, should be net neutrality. Otherwise the six companies who own all the networks and most of the cable channels will have their way. We will have a 2-tier system, gatekeeping with discriminatory networks getting all they want and the little guy will pay the price.Net neutrality means that 60% of the little guys who now produce on the internet will be unprotected. Lose net neutrality and the 99% of what’s produced in traditional media by these major corporations will become the norm on the internet and the goodies I focus talks about will wither away. We forget that the phone companies promised us the highspeed networks in the 90s, and now the duopolists of traditional media are playing the same game and their partners are the phone companies. Please get the word out to all who would keep the internet a common carrier service for all the people that they may lose this essential right in a democracy at the upcoming lame duck session of Congress. The FCC only works with the phone companies and the traditional media it is charged to regulate. We need an open, free internet and we the people must realize that WE MEDIA will wither away if we lose localism. And it could happen in the next few months. Be vigilant!! Be heard!!
